TGIF! Let’s end the week with some celebration ideas, since we’re looking for any excuse to pop a bottle around here. Today we have a super fun 40th birthday celebration from one of our faves, Pretty Posh Events. Shana wanted to surprise her husband Jon for his 40th Birthday. Keeping this event a secret from Jon was no easy task; they had to resort to lunch hour phone calls and discussions on all the elements of the party. She wanted something chic and modern with a luxurious feel. Shana is an accountant and made Jon believe the family was attending a dinner for to honor black accountants. Jon’s mouth dropped when he walked into the room and saw all his friends and family. It took him twenty plus minutes to absorb everything in the room. We live for a good surprise moment!

All the stationery, bar napkins and desserts incorporated silhouettes of our perfect gentleman in celebration of this milestone. One key element that Shana was emphatic on was great music, and a good time, and Mike Music did not disappoint. Needless to say, it was a beautiful, fun and memorable night for our guest of honor and everyone in attendance.”
