I miss beautiful events, parties and weddings SO much. I know we all do, and hopefully we will return to some normalcy very soon. In the meantime, I’m loving getting inspiration from past events and saving them all to my dream folder. What I love about this inspo shoot is that it incorporate so many of the beautiful themes from this year, like neutrals, pampas grass and bamboo details. It could work for decor for so many types of events, and is especially beautiful for an outdoor wedding. It was at the gorgeous property of Allenbrooke Farms.
“We hosted this open house to let our booked couples experience Allenbrooke Farms from their wedding guests’ perspectives, to show our à la carte package items like place setting & decor options and drapery, and to support our friendors!” said the hosts. “We wanted our couples to be able to sample food, drinks, cake, treats, and experiences from so many of our favorite local vendors.”
“We wanted the design to be sustainable, so we incorporated dried flowers for the main tables and the huge hanging floral installation was all dried! These florals were actually all re-used from previous weddings. We also wanted to incorporate a variety of textures. The linens included a mix of velvet, chiffon, and sequin to showcase multiple trends. For the floral containers, we incorporated stone and metal, and wood for the hanging florals. It was important for us to show off all of the trends that are so popular for events right now so couple could see how these looks could be incorporated in the space. Of course, we had to include some wow-worthy photo moments. From the hanging floral installation to the teepee to the mobile hot toddy bar, there were plenty of Instagrammable moments!”
