It’s no secret that we’re fans of happy hour, but we’re also not-so-secret lovers of tea time over here at Perfête. Especially a high tea, with finger sandwiches, crumpets, gossip and possibly (probably) champagne. So you know we instantly loved this super sweet first birthday party with a tea party theme! It’s an awesome excuse to wear a new hat, put on your best pearls and celebrate, whether for a baby or even adults! I love love love the china they chose and cupcakes in tea cups styling is literally genius. From the planners at Deets and Things:
“I’ve always wanted to throw a little tea party so when Suhaila reached out to me to help her throw a traditional tea party first birthday for her daughter Mira, I jumped at the chance. Since this tea party was a first birthday and most of the little guests were 4 and under, I used a low table, swapped out vintage dishware for pretty tea party paper plates from Ellie & Piper and found the cutest silicone teacups for Sugar Crush Sweets to bake her gorgeous floral cupcakes in. We used English tea cans as vases and Not just in Novels turned the place into the prettiest garden party with her blooms. Guests came dressed to the nines in their lovely fascinators and hats and Suhaila picked out the goergeous headpieces for the little gals as one of the favors. Mira’s first partea was such a charming way to spend a summer afternoon!”
There’s even a pun – we couldn’t love it more! Scroll for inspo!
