TGIT! We’re thrilled to share Katie and Michael’s Windy City wedding with you. I have an affinity for city weddings and this one by Ann & Kam Photography is right up our alley. The couple tied the knot at the Bridgeport Art Center with city views, exposed beams, and highlighted the true structure of the space. Greenery provided the main color and focus of the event, including a unique flower wall, which was a standout focal point of the wedding.
There were so many cute DIY touches in the wedding, like the table numbers placed in mismatched frames made by the bride and groom and mercury votives made by the mother of the bride. Bride Katie offers up some helpful advice for couples planning and anticipating their wedding, suggesting “Realize that when you arrive at the wedding weekend, there’s nothing more you can change or do at that point. It will all work out as it’s supposed to. Take time to breathe and really take it all in.”
