Newlyweds drive off in a classic car as fireworks ignite on both sides of the road

Avery and Austin are both graduates of University of Texas and over the years, met in a few random encounters and stayed casual friends. It wasn’t until Avery decided last minute to go to a birthday party in 2017, that happened to be for Austin’s roommate, that the pair really hit it off. They quickly reconnected and ended up talking all night long. Austin proposed two years later on a trip to Tuscany to celebrate Avery’s parents’ 40th anniversary. Avery was completely surprised when Austin got down on one knee at sunset overlooking the Tuscan countryside.

When it came to planning their wedding, timeless and classic was key, while also being true to them as a couple. They wanted a formal celebration that was also a ton of fun for guests. To make conversation easier, lower centerpieces were chosen and a suspended floral chandelier was created to still have a wow factor. Favorite details of the couple were the ginger jars (a love of Avery’s) and custom cups with an illustration of their puppy, Radley. For her own classic look, Avery chose a Romona Keveza gown with overskirt, which she removed and then added an embellished shrug for the reception. The live band had guests dancing all night long, ending the evening in a firework lined getaway.
