Kendria and Emeka met through mutual friends almost ten years ago. Their instant connection sparked the beginning of a “strong foundation with enough differences to keep [them] together”. The couple said ‘I do’ in a heartwarming multicultural ceremony at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin,TX. Enjoy!

From the Bride:

The vision I had for our wedding day was timeless elegance. I wanted each space to have a warm and beautiful feel, which is why flowers and lighting were so important to me. I wanted our wedding day to be a reflection of both of us and who we are as a couple while making our guests feel welcome and pampered for the evening!

Favorite Memories:  I have so many great memories from that day. One of which is walking down the aisle towards the person you will share your life with. A memory that stands out would be our first dance. Emeka sang Michael Buble at the top of his lungs during the entire dance! Another fond memory would be our exit! Our guests harmonized Let’s Stay Together as they blew bubbles. it was a quirky, heartfelt moment I will always remember! My last notable memory is that of love, support and well-wishes we received from our wonderful family and friends throughout the day. Nothing can top that!

The Reception…

Advice for future brides: It’s such a beautiful time in your life. Don’t get too caught up in planning. Enjoy this experience for what it is and focus on your new life with the man of your dreams.
