You know we’re a bunch of saps over here at Aisle Perfect, so today’s vow renewal has us smiling ear to ear and reaching for the tissues. Robin and Tai celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary with an intimate vow renewal at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Restaurant in Washington DC On Sunday, April 10, 2016 (exactly 32 years to the date). Robin has always wanted to renew their vows, since they never had a big wedding. This year, with the help of his daughter Nokomis, Tai was determined to surprise Robin! When Robin arrived to the restaurant it was clear by her reaction that she was completely surprised and the look in Tai’s eyes brought a tear to everyone’s eyes. The love between them was evident to everyone in the room!
Tai and Robin met at a Basketball game in the 9th grade, where Tai was a basketball player on the visiting team and Robin was a Cheerleader on the home team. They were high school sweethearts and married in 1984. They now have 3 beautiful children and one adorable grandson. Their love is a true testament that “Marriage was designed to last a lifetime.” We are teary eyed over this beautiful renewal, planned by our #PrettyPerfectPartner C’est Belle Event Planning and beautifully photographed by another amazing #PPP, Natarsha Wright.
