Wedding Registry Must-Haves by Cusinart

Confession time- I’ve been married for almost three years and I can say I’m probably only using about 50% of my wedding gifts *hides face*. I put all these crazy things on my registry with big dreams of some magical future use that in hindsight sounds so ridiculous.  What is the point of registering for a product you know fully well you’re not going to touch in the next decade or so? ugh. Anyway, my failed registry experience has taught me a few things. Firstly, you should register for items you are sure you’ll use. Secondly, register for things that will make your life easier- if you’re like me and just hate chores, this should be a no-brainer. Last but not least, go for quality…always. You don’t want to be replacing your cookware 4 years down the road- pick solid quality items you know will last a long, long time.

With that in mind, here are some items I think are a MUST HAVE for your wedding registry.

Coffeemaker: As somewhat of a caffeine addict, this Single Cup Grind & Brew™ Coffeemaker  is definitely at the top of my list. This convenient unit grinds up to 16oz at a time and is great for those who want a solid coffeemaker that delivers on quality even if you’re brewing a single cup (it grinds beans first so every single cup gets the best of the bean for the best flavor). You can see how it works here .

Cookware: One of my favorite gifts from my registry is my cookware set. I’m sure you’ve heard over and over that quality is important. Honestly, nothing beats stainless steel cookware. They are just so much easier to clean, especially with my Nigerian dishes (there’s a lot of pot scraping at the end of the night).

Inspired by the kitchens of France, the elegant Cuisinart® Chef’s Classic™ Stainless Cookware Collection  features stainless steel and pure aluminum encapsulated in the base for fast and even heating, which means it protects your food from burning or uneven cooking – it’s every cook’s (or pretend-cook) dream. The best part for me, however, are the handles- the solid stainless handles remain cool on the stovetop so no burnt palms.

Food Processor: Ladies and gentlemen, now this is a game changer. I have to admit I did not realize the life-changing benefit of the food processor. It saves you SO much time. It significantly minimizes prep work by saving you all that time you would usually spend on chopping or dicing or shredding *yuck*.

So with that in mind, you simply must register for the Cuisinart FP-12DC Food Processor. With a 4-cup work bowl nested inside the big bowl and an adjustable 6-position slicing disc coupled with its reversible shredding disc, this amazing processor is like an all-in-one. Check out this video to see this beauty in action.

3-in-1 Cook Central®

Multi-Purpose Cooker: I’m all about time-saving appliances. The less time I have to spend in the kitchen, the better for ALL. This 3-in-1 Cook Central®[JY1]  is the answer to that. It slow cooks, it sautés and it steams- AMEN! If you’re looking for a great quality combination cooker- this baby is for you. With its elegant glass lid and easy-to-read LCD display, yummy stress-free dishes are just one-click away.

These are just a few of my favorite items and of course I’m speaking based on personal experience- pick things that (a) you know you’ll use and (b) will last for a very long time. Cuisinart is quality and I can definitely recommend their products. Get to registering people!
