Happy Monday friends! What you’re about to see will absolutely blow your mind. Laila and Mohammed got married in style at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park, New York. Bride Laila is the lead florist at Design House Decor and her gorgeous vision came to life thanks to a group of awesome vendors. Elegant would be too weak a word to describe the fabulousness that was achieved. So, we’ll let the images by J’adore Love Photography do the talking. From the Bride:
My inspiration came from so many different places, on so many different days. I am a florist by profession and always had my eyes open, searching thousands of pictures and constantly pinning and instagraming my faves. When it came time to pick for myself i only knew i wanted everything to be timeless and from there it all fell into place adding my own flair to every aspect of the wedding.
Advice for Brides-to-be:
My advice to brides on the planning process is to stay true to who you are there is no norm when it comes to weddings anymore, your wedding should reflect you and your husband to be so pick your favorite cake flavor and mix two if you can’t choose, wear whatever shoes you love, pick the colors that you know make you smile because this day is all about your happiness. But most importantly surround yourself with positive energy and enjoy the ride and all the moments that come along with it because before you know it you will be walking down the aisle on your way to forever and you will only have the memories from that planning process!
Favorite Memory:
It is so hard to pick only one it was a day filled with such love, happiness, friends, family, tons of fun and of course the amazing feeling that I am about to start my life with the man of my dreams! But if I had to choose I would say I was absolutely floored when it was time for my sister and maid of honor to give their speech and they turned around put on sequin hoodies started beat boxing and broke out into a parody of the chris brown “look at me” now song all about my husband and I! It is so hard to surprise me but this had me in amazement!
