Yoruba-Igbo Engagement Ceremony in Lagos #ForeverSNO

Kunbi O / Wednesday July 25, 2018

I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for a wedding week in the history of Aisle Perfect. Seriously, folks, Buckle up, because it’s #ForeverSNO week! Bride Salewa and her groom Nonso had a truly epic series of wedding events this year and we are so thrilled to share them with you, starting with the Cultural Engagement Ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.

I could go on and on about Salewa’s contemporary Traditional Yoruba outfit by Nigerian couturier –Deola Sagoe. The romantic lace sleeves wrapped in vintage yoruba aso-oke paired with a chic high collar, completely took me out. Salewa paired culture with couture and the result was complete perfection. Can you tell we’re in love?

Salewa is one of those brides that makes perfection look effortless- you know a true Aisle Perfect stunner. Her style choices were a hit from beginning to end and the wedding was pretty perfect, period. If you’re looking for inspiration for YOUR big day, here’s where to start: #ForeverSno. Enjoy!

The After Party

The couple continued the festivities with an equally epic after party designed by Zapphire Events. Swipe through the slideshow below to see the perfect set up.
