Happy Friday babes – we made it! This is one of the last weekends of summer (don’t shoot the messenger!) so we hope you are able to take a little time to get outside, take in some nature, sip some summer water and make memories with family and friends. If you want to take things up a notch, glean some inspo from this super gorgeous christening! You know we love pink, and the stunning array of pink hues throughout this party is just to die for. (P.S. it could totally be repurposed for an adult’s party too!) I’ve been of fan of monograms and rocking name-related jewelry and decor since Carrie donned her iconic namesake necklace on SATC, so you know I’m all about the giant “S” for baby girl Savannah. I wanted to create something personal and unique for Savannah’s combined christening and first birthday. I was lucky enough to have the trust of my client who allowed me the creative freedom to come up with the design and create a custom made piece. The idea behind the free standing 2 meter S was for it to be adorned in florals grouped by colours. The S needed to be large enough to make an impact and sturdy enough to have the oasis screwed into to hold the flowers in place, so i made the decision to create it from hard grade Styro foam and achieved a perfect result !
