Comin’ in spicy with these delicious moody & romantic styled shoot that serves as perfect inspiration for holiday dinner ideas. Keep it cozy, keep the candles lit and keep the wine flowing and nothing can go wrong 🙂
“The inspiration behind the shoot really began with a conversation between myself and dear friend/fellow planner Akeshi Akinseye of Kesh Events,” said Michelle Durpetti of Michelle Durpetti Events. “I was so excited about the library space, and was explaining how perfect I think it is for small gatherings and intimate weddings. From there, the idea was born to do something for the holidays that could inspire couples looking to get married and not sacrifice style! We decided on a palate of rich colors and bold hues and Akeshi was really wanting to bring in multiple textures as well which I of course loved! From antique hydrangea to various greens to those romantic roses, Akeshi came in with so much we could not wait to get to work.”
“So we had everything from an ivory velvet linen for the table to wooden chargers. We folded in a little bit of metallic and both of us tend to obsess over candles, so colored tapers were a must! We are both incredibly passionate about what we do, and attention to detail is something that is very much a priority for the both of us. Ensuring that our clients feel every part of their event is one of our greatest challenges and most satisfying parts of what we do! To layer texture, color and style only adds more meaning to a celebration and really goes that extra mile in ensuring that our clients and their guests carry all of those feelings with them long after the event concludes!”
