Dee and Devin’s love story began as a classic set up. Devin’s mother and Dee’s friend’s mom both texted each of them asking if they would be interested in meeting one another. Dee passed her number along, they met for their first date at a brewery, and the rest was history. A little over a year later, Devin proposed with a ring hidden in a ‘love fern’ a la “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”, one of Dee’s favorite movies.
Once the pair decided on a winter wedding, “cozy, but sophisticated” became their mantra and Rocket Science Events made the magic happen. For his attire, Devin chose an emerald green velvet tuxedo and it quickly became an inspiration for much of the design. The reception was winter luxe at its finest! Guests were welcomed to the celebration with a spectacular engraved ice wall seating chart. But the real show-stopper was the metallic streamer ceiling installation above the dance floor! There was even a bit of ‘snow’ for their first dance to add to the magic. Since Dee is a dentist, their favors were customs toothbrushes printed with “And they brushed happily ever after. Dee+Devin.” The night ended with an epic show of Devin serenading his new bride!
