TGIM! Today’s real wedding comes courtesy of our newest Pretty Perfect Vendor-Lemiga Events. We’ll share more about this fabulous Atlanta wedding planner later this week but I’m sure this wedding will say it all. Lawanda and Trevor said I do in an opulent red and purple wedding at the Biltmore Ballrooms. The super stylish couple got ready at the W Midtown and shared a sweet intimate first look, where the groom tenderly wiped his bride’s tears as they saw each other for the first time. This #aisleperfect affair designed and coordinated by Lemiga Events was perfectly captured by Janet Howard Studio. Enjoy!
From Lemiga Events:
The stationery suite included die cut shapes with the couple’s monogram. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and purple orchids with a locket and photo to remember her late father. The grounds of the Biltmore always provide a great landscape for portraits. Lawanda and Trevor posed for portraits before heading into the reception At cocktail hour, guests were able to leave well wishes for the couple in their engagement guest book. Tented escort cards were displayed on glamorous plum sequin linen.
The ceremony took place under the grand chandeliers in the Imperial Ballroom at the Biltmore. The bride’s niece who had just learned to walk was the adorable flower girl. Violinist Daniel Davis played as the bride walked down the aisle. We decorated the altar with grand red and purple arrangements on white pillars. The couple exchanged sealed love letters in a wine box ceremony before being pronounced husband and wife!
Lawanda literally squealed when she saw her reception room for the first time. The reception took place in the Georgian ballroom at the Biltmore which glowed in purple up lighting by Unique Event Elements.. Guest tables were dressed in a mix of plum satin and crinkle taffeta linen. Edge Design Group created a mix of low and high centerpieces on the tables. Each place setting included a die cut menu and praline favor. The grand wedding party estate table sparkled in antique gold sequin linen. The bride and groom sat at chairs with specialty calligraphy signs. The dance floor was marked with the couple’s monogram. The wedding cake by Perfect Wedding Cake mimicked the bride’s lace and rhinestone wedding gown.
