It’s full-on springtime here in Los Angeles. We had an extra rainy season and the flowers seemed to have bloomed extra beautifully this year. The daily, socially-distanced walks I talk in my neighborhood for fresh air and mental health have started to feel like botanical garden visits as I take in all the beauty mother nature has. It’s the little things right now, isn’t it? So when I say this STUNNING wildflower heavy styled shoot, I knew I had to share it. It is just so so beautiful and has fairy tale vibes.
Maria Mack Photography on the inspiration behind this post: “This past April, I had the pleasure of being a part of the Design Sanctuary Workshop. This year Design Sanctuary was held at Rosewood Farms in Elkton, Maryland. Rosewood Farms is a stunning venue with a main large space and an adjacent large white barn. Both spaces are a clean slate with endless possibilities.”
“On day, one of the workshop attendees walked into a barn filled with beautiful blooms and rentals for each styled shoot. The day was filled with yoga classes and bites to eat by the fire. If you know me, then you know I love flowers! I felt super excited when I walked in and saw the amazing display Susan from Fresh Designs Florist and Shannon from Shannon Wellington Weddings (who are the hosts) had put together. Day two was when the attendees broke up into three groups and began planning and designing. I had the “Jewish Team” which did a lovely job of creating the ceremony backdrop with clear lucite pillars, and a romantic tablescape in the lower portion of the barn. The line up of instructors and sponsors is what really makes Design Sanctuary a phenomenal workshop. I am very thankful to have been a part of Design Sanctuary!”
