Gorgeous Tropical Wedding at Eden Gardens

As you turn off a dirt road in Moorpark, CA you turn into a tropical oasis called Eden Gardens, the picture perfect spot for today’s wedding feature. “Our goal for the wedding was to bring the beautiful colors, the relaxing feel, and the fun atmosphere from the beautiful island of Hawaii to California,” said groom Tyler. “Loni has family ties to Hawaii, and has always embraced that side of her heritage. As soon as we walked in, we knew that Eden Gardens was the one. We immediately felt transported to a tropical paradise. Loni’s Grandfather recently passed away, and as we walked through the front gates, his favorite song was playing. We knew it was meant to be. We loved the calming sound of running water from all of the fountains around the property, hearing the love birds and peacocks chirping in the distance, and the wonderful smell from the luscious foliage. The choice was easy, we brought the tropical paradise to us.” P.S. & Associates Event Planning styled the day very tropical but with modern and rustic twists. They incorporated coconuts on the tables, loads of pinks and oranges, but still kept it modern with a rose gold sequin linen and navy linens for guests. “We do have to say that choosing to do a first look was one of the better choices we made,” said Tyler. “It gave us a moment to celebrate together as a couple, on our wedding day, with no one else around.”

“I still remember how fast my heart was beating as I walked up to Tyler but it wasn’t because of nerves… it was because of the excitement I had to finally see my husband,” said Loni. “I couldn’t wait to see his reaction to seeing me, his bride, about to join our lives together.”

The couple’s advice to those planning their big day? “Enjoy the planning process – The whole process gets extremely overwhelming and stressful, but it isn’t about the stresses, but the time shared together. Write your own vows – Hearing the words that your significant other is promising you on the day you are becoming husband and wife is something that will hold such a special place in your heart forever. Lastly, follow your heart – You are going to be presented with so many different options, but you should choose whatever speaks to you. No one recommends Denim suits or Dog Cocktails, but they were some of our best choices.”
