There’s just something so sexy about black and white portraits and we are hoping to see more of these stylish monochrome shoots in 2020 weddings and parties. You can just see the emotion and chemistry oozing off the images. Case in point: Tara and Illie. This gorgeous couple tied the knot last week at a truly #perfetewedding in Lagos, Nigeria. My take-away from this wedding was – chemistry, chemistry, CHE-MIS-TRY! First and foremost though, their engagement shoot- whew! The couple came ALL the way through with a sexy AF black and white engagement shoot at their new home. From casual to black-tie, the super stylish duo brought the heat. Each image by Tope Adenola is frame-worthy and the reason we are such huge advocates of engagement shoots in general. DO IT people! The more pictures you have together, the better for your walls. I wanted something extremely minimal and classic for our pre-wedding pictures. Something we could print out and frame in our new home. I found inspiration for a lot of south-asian brides and kept seeing a lot of black and white shots I loved. Another thing I really loved about these shoots, was the opportunity to have different looks from a casual “at home” look, to stylish black and white outfits.
