It’s Wedding Wednesday and today’s featured real wedding has me wanting to re-do my reception, like immediately. The lemon details in this wedding are SO stunning, I feel like this is going to be a new major trend. It’s so simple, yet so so chic. Mixed with soft greenery and a killer bouquet with eucalyptus, it’s the perfect blend of glam and down to Earth.
Matt and Lizzy have traveled all over the world together. Matt even proposed in Munich. When it came to wedding planning, Lizzy dreamed of getting married in Tuscany. A very small intimate wedding with lights strung throughout, lots of greenery and lemons everywhere. Unfortunately, due to conflicting schedules, family and close friends were unable to travel across the world to Italy. So instead, they went on Pinterest to search for Italy-like venues and found Rancho Las Lomas In Silverado, California. Their nearest and dearest were able to make the trek across the country.
In terms of design, Rancho Las Lomas is the perfect setting with all of the greenery and quaint little details. “We utilized a lot of lemons in the design, because not only was it perfect for Italy, Lizzy actually really loves lemons,” said the planners at A Good Affair. “We chose a light grey linen to pop rather than doing a neutral shade. Florals were mainly greeneries and whites. Many of our centerpieces were potted plants and lemons. This is my favorite Teatro design. Most designs at Rancho utilize the top of the arch only. I wanted the greenery to grow from the bottom and create an asymmetrical look. It was stunning.”
