Modern Black and White Museum Wedding

Happy Thursday! We are SO excited for today’s real wedding by our very own Pretty Perfect Vendor, Atlanta based wedding planner Lemiga Events. Ashley and Ade said I do in a truly heartfelt wedding at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. This fabulous black and white affair with gorgeous pops of chartreuse and red was the true epitome of a modern wedding. There were so many touching moments to swoon at, from bride Ashley’s choice to honor her late mother with a photo locket in her bouquet, to their sweet non-first look behind a wall. Cocktail and Reception

The gorgeous cocktail hour featured a modern escort card display floating on an acrylic table with a variety of white flowers. As an alternative to the traditional guestbook, the couple had several books with leading questions for guests to write down advice for the couple.

After cocktail hour, we moved into the Robinson Atrium with its 18 foot coffered ceilings with floor to ceiling windows. For the design we used a mixture of estate and square tables with custom white and black linen. We also used a mix of residential seating with crystal flex chairs, Louis Pop chairs, and high back sofas. The floral centerpieces consisted of bold black vases with compact white floral. We created a large lounge area around the dance floor so the guests could enjoy the party after dinner.

As favors, the couple shared love! More precisely, they had a favor table where guests could pick up a book of the couple’s favorite love poems or write their own love poems in blank notebooks. How sweet!
