Red Shoes and Light Blues: Styled Shoot at Five Oaks Farm

Brianna Kozlarek / Tuesday April 25, 2017

Today we’re bringing you an epically beautiful shoot by Treasured Heart Events. Inspired by unique light blue tuxes, this shoot focused on highlighting accents of light blue and pops of red. Five Oaks Farm located outside of Fort Worth provided a scenic backdrop for a gorgeous styled shoot. The bride dressed in a two-piece lace gown, wore red shoes and an antique ring. Megan created a breathtaking makeup look and up-do, which featured bits of greenery. The groom, clad in a light blue tux, dawned a show of a red handkerchief along with a white boutonniere. The bride’s bouquet, filled with gorgeous white florals, was accented with light blue flowers.

The ceremony space shared similarities to the in-door settings, with greenery, geometric terrariums and candles. The bridesmaid wore a red skirt to show her coordination with the bride, and carried a rare wreath instead of a bouquet. The groomsman wore a grey tux in order to allow the groom’s tux to brightly shine!

The head table, decorated with an arch hand-crafted by my team, was decorated with flowing greenery. Pops of gold filled the table and place settings through flatware, candles, votives and rims on the toasting flutes. A marble charger tied the gold into a cohesive look. Geometric terrariums gave the head table a different look from a classic setting. The cakes continued the geometric theme and were accompanied by mini cakes of red velvet, lavender, and almond. Tasty and adorable! The setting sun provided gorgeous lighting for photos, done by the amazing Arden Prucha . A lounge area with the same details as inside allowed a nice resting spot for the bridal party. The bride and groom popped champagne to celebrate a beautiful day!
