Today’s elegant black and gold styled shoot was inspired by the fabulous, soulful Marvin Gaye and shot at a venue named after Marvin Gaye. The venue is new to the wedding scene, but definitely not new to the U street scene in Washington DC. U street is known for its music and soul and this shoot took inspiration from the soul and classic architecture of the venue and the area. This shoot aimed to capture the elegance, moodiness, and romance of Marvin. The majority of the bride and groom portraits were shot at the gorgeous and historic Meridian Hill Park, which is only a short walk from the venue and also a popular location for wedding portraits.
