Happy Tuesday Friends! Today’s real wedding has enough personality to melt even the hardest of hearts. Candice and Brendon moved down to Texas from Brooklyn, NY a couple of years ago. They knew from the start that they wanted their wedding day to be very non traditional and to create a day that was true to themselves. Intimate, casual and fun were the words of the day. I am obsessed with all the personal details they included .. from the adorable fans with awesome catch phrases like “Turn down for What?” and “Don’t Stop Get Get!” to their invitation suite saying “This Time We Mean It” haha I love it! They followed their adorable outdoor ceremony with a brunch reception at Max’s Wine Dive which reflected their quirky yet vintage style in every way. This couple brought their Brooklyn swag to the south and perfection ensued (Click here to see the full gallery). Special thanks to Kristen Curette Photography for sharing this lovely capture with us.
From the Bride: We altered the day a bit and cut a lot of the fluff. We wanted the day to focus on our marriage as opposed to the wedding. So we kept it simple and intimate in celebrating our journey with our friends and family that could make it from near and far. We’re very excited about the little meaningful details and love the idea of creatively capturing this day in candid moments of family and friends coming together to celebrate both our journey down the aisle and beyond.
