Yes! It’s Thursday and what better way to celebrate than with a fabulous New Orleans wedding. You already know how much I love Nola events and no one does Nola photography like Arte de Vie (check out their previous Aisle Perfect feature here). Megan and Byron got married in a beautiful courtyard ceremony at The Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans’ French Quarter. Fabulous was the word of the day as the event was chockfull of fabulous little details from the fabulous couple to the fabulous second line. See for yourselves
From the Photographer:
Megan started off her day with bridal prep at the Monteleone and was about as laid back as any bride could possibly be. The thing I loved was the trend I started to see as I went from her to room to another of their hotel rooms where her dress was being kept…..each room had a nice bottle of bourbon sitting at the ready! Once the hair and make up was complete, it was just a short stroll down Royal Street to the Court of Two Sisters for her to get dressed and fully ready for her First Look! Megan and Byron met each other as Bride and Groom in the adjoining courtyard of the Hotel Maison de Ville. You could tell that Megan is really most at ease when she’s close to Byron, and she was so stunning that he almost passed out during the First Look! Ok, while she was certainly stunning, I think his condition had more to do with the previous night’s bourbon and the wedding day’s lack of food:) We got him something cold to drink and a bit of food, and he was back in action in no time. The rest of the evening was just a perfect New Orleans Spring wedding with a great 2nd Line, cocktails and a great band to keep the evening rolling!
