As one of my absolute favorite things to do, I love hosting intimate dinners with delicate and scented tablescapes for my friends and family. Sometimes I will go all out with renting a few pieces to upscale the look a bit, however with this tablescape I really wanted to keep it as natural and organic as possible. I decided to go with my original dining room table and chairs, and added a few glitzy highlights, such as beaded scalloped place mate and transparent menu cards designed by “Gourmet Invitations”. Fresh flowers and candles always go a long way. Instead of covering up the beautiful glass and base of the table I decided to keep it uncovered to see the beauty of the base and to watch the flicker of light that bounces off the glass from the lit candles sticks.
