My sister (friend) Data welcomed her first child last fall. About 10 days before little Alex’s debut, we realized we had no pictures of Data in her most intimate state- maternity. After a quick plea for help, the wonderful Abbey Domond, scheduled a mini-session to memorialize what was literally Data’s last week of pregnancy. Abbey perfectly captured that wonderful feeling of purpose shared between two first-time parents. The pictures are so amusing to me because my friends were so opposed to having a photoshoot and I had to pull out all the tricks to get them to do this. At the end, everything worked out (in spite of the frigid Connecticut weather) and the new parents can now look back lovingly on the last time they were just a duo (click here for their wedding pictures).
