Every now and again, a photographer comes along and gets our creative spirits excited and today that photographer is Kate of Kate L Photography! In this shoot, she captured a day in the life of a family. We love the fact that these family photos were taken at different points in the day and at different locations. Highlights of the day included a homemade breakfast, a more sugary second breakfast, making lemonade from scratch, cozy moments on the couch and checking out a new ice cream joint, an activity that has become one of their favorite family traditions.
Kate says: “I had a chance to truly appreciate the sense of home that they have created. I might have cried just a little when I had to say goodbye. I sure hope these images will remind them of a time that, although not always simple or easy, had the makings of a magical childhood.”
