We visited New York back in February with our children and friends. On February 17th we went to the statue of liberty. Which is a whole day outing. I was exhausted after and wanted to head back to our rental. Everyone kept saying they wanted to go to central park at around 8PM, with tired kids and about 18 degrees. I didn’t want to be the debbie downer so I just went with it, but I was super tired.
We got to central park and they all kept saying they wanted to build a snowman, we went up on a hill looking for nice packed snow to build this snow man that everyone wanted. Suddenly I turn around and found my now fiance Marvin on one knee. He said “I love you, would you marry us?” (“US” meaning him and and our kids) suddenly my 8 year old daughter approached us out of no where with the biggest grin on her face and handed me the engagement ring >.< – Totally unexpected!! Not to mention how beautiful the ring was. It was a beautiful moment.
