Striking Fall Wedding at The Elm Street Center in North Carolina

Happy #WeddingWednesday lovers! We’ve got a stunning Fall North Carolina wedding from Elana Walker Events to share today. Regal Romance was inspiration surrounding the details of LaToya and Zeb’s wedding with stunning statement touches. “I felt it was important to really create an aura that exuded the well vested love, devotion, and romance that my husband and I share,” said LaToya. “I have always loved everything about the Fall; the smells, the clean crisp air, most of all the hues. I also knew that I wanted my girls to wear a muted color. As I searched for Fall wedding color inspiration using Pinterest and other internet sources, bridal magazines, etc. I came across the Marsala Pantone and was stunned. This beautiful spectrum of colors ranging from deep wine to mauve and blush was exactly what I was looking for. Clean but with striking warm, rich depth. My dress was blush, my girls wore a shade of blush and the florals ranged in a variety of blooms of deep wine to mauve and blush, with touches of green. Our décor also included pops of rose gold accents. My husband and groomsmen wore traditional, yet debonair black. Our hostesses wore blush flapper-style dresses.” There’s something extra special about a fall wedding. Take a look at their beautiful day captured by Keith Cephus Photography:
The Ceremony
“Seeing my husband waiting for me at the altar, exchanging vows, and all the smiles and happiness on our guests faces as my Father walked me down the aisle was incredible,” said LaToya. “My husband is not the man to openly speak about how he feels in-front of a room full of people. Yet, the simple, heart-felt vows my husband spoke to me, and the sincerity in his voice at that moment were perfect and let me know that I was exactly where and with whom I needed to be. I struggled with my vows for weeks leading up to the wedding, but after prayer and a good night’s rest, when I woke up that morning I knew exactly what my husband needed to hear me commit to him.” Zeb’s favorite moment? “Seeing my wife walk down the aisle looking like she fell straight from the heavens and the impromptu after-party and photo shoot in the hotel lobby after the reception.” We can’t handle the love you guys! So wonderful!
The Reception:
“My husband and I also are big on fun!” said Latoya. “Carnivals, games, popcorn all of it! So we created a Game Room for our cocktail hour. We incorporated some of our favorite board games along with our signature warm cider cocktail and hors d’oeuvers. We also had a popcorn bar with different varieties and boxes to go along! Made such perfect sense!”
LaToya’s advice for brides to be? “Know your vision and the purpose behind it. Take it easy, as my husband would say. Make everything about your wedding exclusive to you and your future husband, and everything the two of you want! It’s easy to get caught up in what everyone else wants for your special day, and opinions are great! Show appreciation for all the help and support you receive, but at the end of it all you want to be completely comfortable in all of your very important decisions. Let your day speak for the both of you! Have fun, soak up every moment, it will go by so quickly and a week later you’ll want to do it all over again!”
