Sometimes the most beautiful love story begins between two good friends. This was the case for today’s #EngagementMonday couple, Deandra and Donavon. They met through a mutual friend and fostered a close bond, that of friendship first. Growing to know each other from the perspective of friends, they really learned about each others flaws and perfections. Said bride-to-be Deandra, “I fell in love with his smile, great sense of humor, and his soft brown eyes. He often spoke about my smile and my caring attitude as qualities that drew him to me. We both admired these qualities in each other, and on Easter of 2013 we decided to see if we were compatible.”
In December of last year, after two years of movie nights, family functions, arguments, both good and bad times, Donavon asked for Deandra’s hand in marriage. Deandra couldn’t wait to say “Yes” to her best friend. They chose the beautiful Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas for their engagement session. Deandra and Donavon will be getting married on July 9, 2016 and we wish them a lifetime of happiness.
