A Mommy And Me Boho-Chic Brunch in LA

We are celebrating motherhood all month long! This season gives us time to reflect and celebrate the gifts motherhood has been so generous to share with humanity. We are constantly looking for new and fun ways to celebrate moms and our friend Sabrina Maldonado of Golden Arrow Events set up the most stunning mommy & me brunch in LA!

Sabrina: Being a mama is one of the most beautiful and rewarding things in life, but also having friends that are mamas is so wonderful to share the experience with. So when talking about this shoot Erika of One Social Design and I thought it would be wonderful to do something where we could have fun with the mamas and our babies!

When our friends at Mesh Space Co opened up their new co-work space/venue we knew it would be the perfect setting for our mama gathering. Its neutral calming colors and modern touches were the exact vibe we were looking for. Once we had the venue we went to work and brought on some amazing vendors to bring our vision to life.

Let’s start off with Love this Way LA!  Not only did we have their beautiful marquee lights, but Nicole and her beautiful baby bump was also our model.  You can’t have a party at Mesh Space Co without having Mesh Kids Co ball pit with a slide!  And of course, I couldn’t pass up the chance to doll it up with balloons.

The kids loved it and had so much fun!  Teak and Lace provided the kids’ tables and chairs.  Everything and anything is more adorable in miniature size!   Dazzling the kid’s table was Really Cute Sweets cupcakes, cakesicles,  and donuts! Malisa with Creative Amme created a stunning install made of fringe and of course, her laser cut goods graced our tables.  She’s always creating such fun, beautiful, and unique signage.

We couldn’t have a Mother’s Day gathering without florals.  We enlisted the help of Floraltique.  Her beautiful fine art style took our shoot to a whole other level.  You can’t have a party without yummy desserts. Flouring LA’s cakes truly are a work of art! It was everything we wanted; Modern, clean, and oh so delicious!

You didn’t think we were going to skip out in the ice cream, did you? Gourmeletas showed up with her hand-dipped ice cream bars! Oh, my word they were delicious!!
