Mediterranean Wedding Inspo at the Manhattan Bridge

Perfete / Wednesday February 5, 2020
Y’all are in for a treat today. This stunning styled wedding shoot is the perfect blend of boho, mediterranean and classic. There’s the beautifully dressed bride and groom, dreamy green florals with pops of natural color and a tablescape that takes us to the coast of Italy. Brides to be, take note! This is modern classic done right.
Celestine is one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. The food presentation, flavor profiles, staff…and the view! Perfectly nestled near the Manhattan bridge, Celestine is the ideal setting for any celebration!  The style and concept for this shoot was simple: elevate what already exists!  When working in a new venue, I like to inquire about their design concepts + history.  Celestine’s decor inspiration was “Lebanon in the 60’s.” So thats what we did! Some sultry glam for the attire, and a whole lotta mediterranean vibes for the decor.  We went with olives and lemons to accent the earth tones of the tables and the flatware that live at Celestine. During the shoot, we laughed and sang most of the day.  When we wrapped, we shared the meal that was photographed and realized that our shoot had turned into a celebration of its own.
