NYBFW: RIVINI Fall 2020 Bridal Collection by Rita Vinieris

Up next in our NYBFW coverage is the beautiful RIVINI collection by Rita Vinieris. RIVINI  is perfect for the modern bride, while still maintaining the allure of more traditional bridal gowns with an edge.  The standouts in this collection are definitely the amazingly intricate lace detail seen on almost every look, as well as some pretty major cape moments. There’s an all silk, long sleeve gown with a jeweled neckline that absolutely screams glamour and channels a very 1930’s old Hollywood vibe. Many of these looks could be worn to black tie events making them extra versatile.

“I was inspired by mystical & captivating European Castles,” said the designer. “Fall 2020 was an exploration of deconstructing the old and iconic silhouettes and melding them with contemporary luxurious couture details. I played with Baroque inspired laces that have modern elements and refined European satins. By merging grandness with minimalism, the past with the present I reconstructed gowns that are both opulent yet understated.”
