Happy Monday y’all! I know sometimes the week ahead can be daunting. But, we are all in this together. Let’s ease into the week with something that sparks major joy at Perfête. Fun fact: Editor in Chief Kunbi is a HUGE Harry Potter fan. Like big time. So naturally when we saw this magical Harry Potter themed birthday party, we just could not pass it up. TBH, we would have crashed this party in a heartbeat, it looks like so much fun! There are decked out tables with themed houses, like Slytherin and Gryffindor. The iconic 9 3/4 platform. Hogwarts inspired cakes. Doughnuts. Birthday party activity ideas including: archery, wands, and painting. It all adds up to what looks like an unforgettable celebration.

From Bade’s (the birthday boy!) Mum:
“There’s a joy in sharing passions with your children and having them take to the fandom as enthusiastically as you did. My siblings and I are old enough to have queued outside Borders bookshop for freshly minted copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  When my son Bade turned nine, I was so pleased to buy him the complete boxed set of books for Christmas and watch him wade through the themes of loyalty, grief, friendship, boarding school pranks, a love for animals and (in) tolerance with all the emotional highs and lows! When he turned 10, it was only right that we celebrate with what has become a family favourite. In 2016, I hung up my party planning boots (@socialplacelagos) and went into fulltime consulting and so I knew I would need support to execute my vision of  ‘A day at Hogwarts.’ Working with Olo of @kidskulture, a long time friend and a consummate professional was so much fun!”
