Manhattan Skyline Styled Shoot with 3 Bridal Looks

Kunbi O / Monday September 3, 2018

Happy labor day lovers! We hope you’re enjoying this day off with your feet kicked up and maybe a BBQ or two in your future. Before we bid farewell to summer on this last long weekend, enjoy this dreamy styled shoot featuring three brides and a whole lotta style with a Manhattan skyline backdrop.  “My style is modern and classic with a bit of an airy feel,” said Megan McGreevy Photography. “I wanted a venue to feature this style, and the Bordone immediately caught my eye, with its spacious white rooms and views of the Manhattan skyline. This would be the perfect canvas to create something modern and romantic. F. Scott Fitzgerald said, ‘The city seen from the Queensboro Bridge is always the city seen for the first time, in its first wild promise of all the mystery and beauty in the world.’ Which makes this venue’s panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, Long Island and the Queensboro Bridge, perfect for any couples’ magical and romantic day. Like experiencing New York City for the first time, a wedding is the start to a new life, full of dreams and all of the mystery, promise and beauty of a new future together.”

“The florist created a tall and beautiful floral installation that framed the models and stood out beautifully in the white-walled room with high ceilings. The gorgeous bouquets and centerpiece where just enough amounts of color to stand out on the marbled and bright table-scape with silver candelabras and grey linens. The boutonniere were delicate and added just a touch of color to the groom’s attire.”

“We had an 8-foot marble table set in venues beautiful all-white room. Out table- scape with silver candelabras and grey linens, also included a soft pink glass plate and wine glass, that was just enough color to tie in with the floral elements. Everything is very bright with white, grey and silver incorporated into the table. We also had clear chairs at the table, and a mirrored bar set up with champagne flutes, and a white leather bench, that fit well with the modern and solver-grey vibe. Everything gives a calm, high-end feel.”
