We had the opportunity to chat with Christiana Turner and learn a little bit more about this lovely company:
Tell us a little bit more about your services:
“We carry a variety of invitation styles including but not limited to unique Lasercut invitations, Die-cut Invitations, Silk/Velvet Invitations in a variety of colors to present your invitations in grand style. We offer different print methods – Digital offset, Thermography, Foil, Letterpress, Engraved and Embossed prints. Although we are located in Houston, Texas, our client base extends far beyond Houston. We look forward to hearing from you and/or meeting you in person!”
Describe your style and aesthetic:
“Our style is very clean and classic. Looking through our portfolio, it’s very easy to see that we love to keep invitations clean, not too crowded and very classic. We also very big on stationery etiquette; so we advise clients on the proper ways to word their invitation.”
What inspired you to work in the wedding industry?
“Having been in the industry for over 10 years (2007), I LOVE working with brides/couples. The wedding planning process is an exciting and emotional time in their lives. Every client is different. We love being able to work with different personalities who have different expectations. So, being a small part of their celebration is very rewarding. We pride ourselves in being able to work with people of different temperaments. People ask how we deal with bridezillas and I can honestly say, we’ve not really had bridezillas (thankfully). And having an attitude of not being easily fazed helps a lot to be sane in the wedding industry.”
What is your favorite thing about wedding stationery/invite design?
“In most cases, no two invitation designs are the same. The exciting part is working on new designs constantly.”
Name some of your favorite vendors you’ve worked with:
“We’ve had the privilege to work with many talented event vendors here in Houston and several outside of Houston as well. We’ve been blessed to work with very good professionals and honestly cannot mention names because thankfully, many of them are our favs :)”
Do you have any advice for brides on the wedding planning process?
“Know what your wedding style is. Be realistic about budget and expectations; and be open-minded. This will help alleviate a lot of stress.”
When you’re not working your day (and night!) job, what do you love to do?
“I love traveling alone. I’ve been slowed down in the last 2 years raising a family but I will be picking back up very soon. There’s so much fun in traveling solo on adventure vacations exploring new countries and cultures.”
If you could travel to any destination right now, where would it be?
“Maldives. Right now, I need a vacation where I can be disconnected from life and just rest!”
What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
“Sitting on the couch with a blanket and decadent dessert, watching a good movie. I’m a serious homebody!”
