Today’s gorgeous southern wedding features the most beautiful details, vibrant colors, a gorgeous view, and an incredible couple! We’re loving the rose petal ceremony trend that’s been popping up everywhere, and wait until you see this CAKE. “There are so many details about our wedding that we loved!” said bride Emily. “We wanted the style to be classic, timeless, and romantic at the country club. The overall color was a nod to my Chinese culture. The red and gold were chosen with inspiration from my Chinese heritage and the combination really popped when my favorite color pink was added to the mix. We even extended the red and gold to the stationary where we had red envelopes with gold calligraphy and the invitations themselves were red with a gold pressed seal. We also wanted to incorporate the Double Happiness symbol, red silk fans for guests during the ceremony out on the golf course, and red Chinese lanterns in the entry hall to help welcome guests to the reception.”
The Ceremony
The Reception
“One of the most important details we had while planning was making sure we had a beautiful hanging cake. The entire look and feel of the reception was all centered on the cake, along with beautiful red draperies, flowers that accented it, and matching uplighting. One of the many things we splurged on were the flowers, as well as our honeymoon in Italy.”
