Nothing like a totally chic and classic engagement shoot to kick off the week. The looks are so stylish and classy (and affordable – we see you on that gorg Lulu’s dress girl!). The venue of the Detroit Institute of the Arts only added to this gorgeous couple’s aesthetic.
Their story: “John proposed to me on March 25, we jetted off to Cancun for a tropical vacation with my family, and now we are back and in full blown wedding planning mode.John and I met during our last month of undergrad at Michigan State. We fell for each other instantly, but I was moving to Ireland for an internship that summer. We basically dated over video chat for the entire summer, and the rest is history. I am a teacher, he is in finance, we live in Royal Oak, and we are the perfect balance for each other. He brings out my fun side, while I keep him grounded. We are going for a very classic wedding with a ton of greenery, and white flowers, with dusty/slate blue bridesmaid dresses, and the men are going to be in classic bow-tie tuxes!” Beth Joy Photography captured this absolutely stunning couple’s shoot:
