It is January 75th at this point? With actual snow in Chicago yesterday we are BEYOND ready for spring and some warmer weather. Enter this beautiful teal & gold geometric to take our minds off the snow and on this CAKE. Stunning. Pixie Dust Events, LLC and a group of wedding vendors in Michigan who were also eager for a glimpse of spring came together with visions of teal and gold to collaborate on this styled shoot. Inspired by a combination of both modern geometric design and vintage textures, they gathered at the newest venue in town- The Homegrown Brewing Co– for backgrounds full of exposed brick and industrial fixtures. Key inspiration pieces included a dark teal velvet chair, geometric gold terrariums, a geode inspired cake, and vibrant spring floral. The bride braved the late-winter weather by donning a black leather jacket, which ended the shoot with a perfectly edgy portrait in the alley below. Awakened Light Photography captured the images:
