Playful and Chic Portland Engagement Shoot

Brianna Kozlarek / Monday April 9, 2018

Happy Monday lovers! It was a rainy and gloomy evening in Portland, Oregon but that did not stop these two from turning up the heat with their engagement photos! “Keeping under cover a bit, we headed to Cathedral Park in Portland under the gorgeous St. Johns Bridge, then as the evening got later we headed over to the Sentinel Hotel to shoot in their lobby and hallways for a more chic classic look” said Deyla Huss Photography. “Julian sure knew how to make Janelle smile!”

“Julian’s Birthday present to me was taking me sky diving. When we arrived at 10am we filled out all the paperwork and they said we would be the second group to go that day so we would take off in about an hour. Well the day didn’t go as planned; we waited for about 5 hours sitting outside because there was a problem with the plane and we were waiting for a mechanic. I was ready to go and come back another day, but Julian insisted on waiting. Finally about 3pm they said the plane was fixed and we would be taking off! The videographer took me outside to start the first introduction part of my skydiving video: My name, age, reason for jumping, any shoutouts before we take off, etc. “Well Julian was with me shooting the first part of the video and next thing I know he is down on one knee! We got the whole thing on video and then we jumped (about 2 hours later). It was an adrenaline filled day and SOOO amazing! :)” Sounds #PrettyPerfect to us. Congrats to the happy couple to be!
