Best of Aisle Perfect Cakes & Bouquets in 2017

Brianna Kozlarek / Tuesday December 26, 2017

We hope you all had an absolutely wonderful holiday filled with happiness, family and peace. Before we look toward ringing in the New Year, one of our favorite annual traditions here at Aisle Perfect is rounding up alllll our favorite pieces from our favorite posts. We look back and reflect on the things that really stood out, from dresses to decor and everything in between. Since there’s so much goodness, we’ll be splitting it up into several posts, starting today with cakes and bouquets! This year cakes really took back the spotlight from cupcakes, doughnuts and other reception goodies. The naked cake look was definitely still around, but our favorite new trends were geode cakes and cakes with a dark, dramatic flair in non-traditional colors. Here are some of our favorite cakes from this year:

Bouquets:

This year we saw a major jump in creativity in bouquets (I swear last year was only peonies!)  and there were vibrant colors abound. The biggest standout in bouquets this year was definitely a focus on greenery, no doubt in part to Pantone’s color of the year.
