Pink and Blue Wedding at Grand Island Mansion

Brianna Kozlarek / Wednesday November 1, 2017

Happy #WeddingWednesday! We hope you had a wonderful Halloween full of sweet treats, and we’ve got another sweet treat for you right now 😉 Joyce and Waine met at their current church. Waine was a receptionist at their church and it was Joyce’s first time attending. They chat and later on they found out that they work in the same area and have common friends. They became good friends and later on started dating…which leads us to their beautiful pink and blue wedding at the Grand Island Mansion.

Joyce’s vision of her dream wedding was rococo, neoclassical architectures. When she saw Grand Island Mansion, she fell in love with the place. “The place gave us romantic vibe,” said Joyce. “When we saw the dining room, we looked at each other with amazement! It looked like the dining hall from Beauty and the Beast. The place is already beautiful and filled with ornate pieces of furniture. It was like a mini Versaille.”  The Ganeys captured this beautiful day:

The Ceremony

Joyce’s favorite memory was when she was walking down the aisle with her dad and getting married at the church with Waine. “Lan decorated the aisle with a white sash, pink flowers, and crystal stands,” said Joyce. “It looked so magical.”
