Happy Friday loves! We’re so excited for the weekend (pass the pinot!) and extra excited to introduce you to one of our newest #PrettyPerfectPartners Creations By Sasha. Creations By Sasha specializes in unique, custom-made stationery for weddings and events. No two couples or events are the same and it their goal is to create timeless keepsakes for their clients and their guests that captures their unique personalities. From wedding invitations through coordinating day-of stationery, they work extensively with their clients to truly capture their style and infuse it into every part of their stationery design.
We are firm believers that the from the save-the-dates to the invites, the stationary you chose sets the tone for your wedding and is the first introduction your guests have into your wedding aesthetic. We took some time to chat with Sasha Willis, owner & creator of Creations By Sasha, to get her thoughts on what inspires her, more information on her business offering and of course a few fun facts 🙂
What inspired you to go into stationery & design?
My own love for elaborate parties inspired me to create custom stationery. I love themes and designing things that are unique and one-of-a-kind.
Name some of your favorite vendors you’ve worked with?
Some of my favorite vendors are Elle Nicole Events, Jayne Heir Weddings, and Simple Breathe Events for planning. My favorite florist is Petals Edge and my two absolute favorite cake designers are Fluffy Thoughts Cakes and Couture Cakes by Sabrina.
Any advice for brides on the wedding planning process?
Don’t forget the bigger picture. During the planning process, brides can feel overwhelmed with all of the design decisions and choices. I like to remind my couples that at the end of the day, if they made it down and back up the aisle, then they accomplished what the day is about. Also, your guests have no idea what you have planned, so if something goes wrong of a mistake is made, 99% of the time, the guests won’t even know. So don’t stress out!
When you’re not designing, what do you love to do?
My husband and I enjoy traveling the world and watching the Food Network.
If you could travel to any destination right now, where would it be?
Italy! I love wine!
What is your favorite Guilty pleasure?
Harry Potter. I’m obsessed.
Tell us Something that recently inspired you?
Beyonce. Her work visually with the Lemonade album and her maternity and baby photo shoots really make you think. Researching where she draws her inspiration from inspires me to look at so many different things in design differently.
