Today we’re mixing things up and share a perfectly adorable princess themed birthday party thrown by on of our #PrettyPerfectPartners Shalyce from Sensational Soirees.
“When I asked my daughter what type of 3rd birthday party she wanted, and she responded ‘pink princess,’ my heart leaped with joy that she is already taking after the planner in me by coming up with party themes,” said Shalyce. “Needless to say I went right to work dreaming up a soiree that incorporated all things royal and Cassidy’s favorite color. To set the tone for this posh soiree, queens and princesses were sent a beautiful royal invitation, addressed by Just Write Studios, and designed by Alexandria Lindo and accented with blush prink ribbon and the cutest gold and rhinestone crown embellishment. The party was held at our home, which I had so much fun turning into what I’d like to call a Princess Parlor.”
“While I wanted the party to be a wonderful celebration for Cassidy, it was just as important to make all the girls feel like princesses for the day. To that end, on party day, when the girls arrived they all received gold crowns upon entering Cassidy’s Castle. When the birthday princess came downstairs to the party in her beautiful Pantora Mini gown and embellished tiara from the Unicorn’s princess, she was greeted with heartwarming applause, smiles, and hugs. The princess feel throughout the day and our home was achieved by shifting out and around some of our furniture to make room for the beautiful luncheon tables that were set perfectly for queens and princesses. Thanks to The Carousel Factory, all the girls were able to sit at children’s tables and in the cutest gold chiavari chairs, while the moms had similar tables and chairs to match from Select Event Group. To make the castle feel warm and beautiful, flowers were everywhere along with royal touches.”
“For lunch, the girls were taught how to place their napkins in their laps and ate on china and with gold flatware like big girls! They also enjoyed a taste of apple cider from the most adorable princess decorated bottles. There’s simply no kids celebration, royal or not, without fun, so our family room was turned into the Princess Parlor where the girls got to play endless princess dress up and get the royal spa-like treatment with mini manis and pedis. With custom robes from Posh Girly Girls that read pamper her confidence and sugar scrub for their sweet little feet, the girls were truly in princess heaven. The Princess Parlor was definitely a hit for all the little girls, and the biggest highlight was a visit from Princess Tiana herself! The girls were so happy to smile, hug and pose with her, which was so cute to see. After endless play and photos, we all enjoyed a sweet ending with yummy cake, cupcakes and cookies. It was such a splendid day of smiles, laughter, beauty and celebrating the queen and princess in everyone there, all while celebrating the third year of Princess Cassidy’s reign! Seeing her oh so happy for the entire day made this planning mama oh so happy!”
