Today’s #WeddingWednesday has a very special love story. Michelle and Greg met in the summer of 2011. Michelle was working as a postdoctoral fellow, and Greg was a grad student at Johns Hopkins University, who ended up at the same science lab. They became fast friends and in November 2012 and began dating. Their first date was dinner at Of Love & Regret, in the neighborhood of Brewer’s Hill. Both said they just “felt natural” with the other, and at the start of the New Year, became very serious. In June 2015, Greg worked up an elaborate proposal plan that was thwarted due to rain, so he proposed at home, while Michelle was doing laundry. “He came and cornered me in the closet,” said Michelle. “He talked about how special we are together. His voice was shaking. His hands were shaking. It was very sweet.” Michelle has a daughter from a previous relationship, so the pair knew family would play a special role in their wedding day. Greg had always been a step-father figure to Chloe, but the wedding day made an official start for the family. 80 of their closest family and friends gathered at the Hotel Monaco in Baltimore to witness Michelle and Greg say their vows, and you could feel the love in the room. Love Life Images beautifully captured their special day. It is clear to see just how happy these lovely newlyweds are:
