Inspired by their love and excitement for the city of Cleveland, Ohio, McPherson Events & Design curated today’s sophisticated styled shoot centered in the heart of the city. Cleveland has been in the news a lot recently. From the World Champion Cavaliers and Lebron James,to the 2016 Republican National Convention and of course the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Shot at The Ritz Carlton in Downtown Cleveland, the shoot sets out to highlight a classic and elegant wedding with a gorgeous neutral palette with black and white accents. Cotton Ink set the stage designing a logo of the CLE skyline in a black and white silhouette. Stylish stationery and signage items along with decorative pillows and mirror decals were created to capture the essence of the city themed wedding. The real life Bride and Groom, Adam and Jackie are two young attorneys who met at the Cleveland Public Library Legal Aid Free Clinic- my kind of love story! It was a fairy tale for Jackie and Adam as they are now engaged with a wedding planned for 7/7/17.
The Shoot
The Bride prepared for the festivities in The Ritz’s Lakeside Room overlooking the city. Lindsay London went for natural looking makeup with finishing touches of a classic wedding hair style, pinned up with cascading curls. Jackie’s strapless fit and flare Legends by Romona Keveza gown was exclusively selected for her by Something White Bridal. The bouquet by Plantscaping and Blooms was the perfect mixture of white roses, calla lilies and orchids were accented with cascading greens. The handsome Groom wore an avant-garde black tuxedo with bow tie by David Cotugno Tailors. The wedding rings handmade by Wanderlust Jewelers wrapped the whole idea of happiness into one, the couple. The Reception
The wedding reception took place in the Grand Ballroom of The Ritz. The three-tiered stylish wedding cake was designed by Milk Glass with colors of black and white with accents of shimmering gold. L’Nique Specialty Linen Rental provided the elegant, soft gold satin linen with matching chair covers. White roses, hydrangea, hypericum, tulips, peonies, ranaculas and dark greenery filled the gold revere bowls at the guest tables with votives flickering on all the tables around the room. The King’s table was ornately adorned with votives, candelabras accented by majestic, white floral centerpieces. All floral décor were tastefully created by Plantscaping and Blooms. Holding a regal spot at the table were towering macaron trees expressly designed by Coquette Patisserie, a French Pastry shop. All guests were treated to macaron party favors. What an enchanting, memorable night!
