While the chilly temperatures might not be an indication, spring has sprung and we are excited for color, flowers and warmer temps to make their way back into in our life. Luckily for us, our #PrettyPerfectPartner Lemiga Events put together a stunning watercolor wedding styled shoot, photographed by Elle Golden, to put us all in the spring spirit.
Here’s the inside scoop from lead planner Michelle Gainey:
We wanted to create a design the embodied the softness and romance of the spring season. We were inspired by the custom watercolor designs of Courtney Khail to create a vignette in hues of pinks and oranges. Asymmetrical blush and ivory drape created a soft entrance into the tablescape. The floral designer created an art inspired moss covered backdrop displaying a mix of brightly colored fresh floral and abstract watercolor paintings by our stationer. For a unique reception table, we used a silver Louis table with a mix of pearl ostrich and ghost chairs. Place settings were comprised of vintage ivory china, silver flatware, and blush glassware. The centerpiece featured a lush ombre floral design. The custom painted watercolor stationery suite incorporated lush pink, orange, and blush peony and ranunculus blooms with handwritten names. We created a lounge with silver velvet covered Louis furniture accented by mirrored side tables and brightly colored pillows. For romantic spring attire inspiration, our bride model wore blush gowns from Anne Barge and White Magnolia.
