You know it’s going to be an epic feature when “Beyonce” is in the title. Aisle Perfect bride to be Krystyn is a huge Beyoncé fan so she channeled her inner Beyoncé and became “Kayonce” for a day. Planned by Creative Purposes by C.Fultz, this Beyonce inspired bridal shower brings our Queen Bey to life in a fun and glamorous way. From cheeky wordplay like “We love to PARFAIT” and “Watch me while I CHICKEN on it”, to cool details like concert tickets and backstage passes as invitations; this shower has it all. We’ll let the pictures do the rest. Are you ready to be entertained?
Krystyn’s super chic “Kay-Hive” bridal shower was held on the rooftop of Solas Lounge in downtown Raleigh. A Beyoncé playlist, a little bit of bling, lots of gold sparkles, hot pink and black and white striped linens adorned the place. Krystyn loves breakfast food so the bridal shower also doubled as a brunch with chicken and waffles, bacon and grits served in champagne glasses, a parfait bar with a variety of fresh fruit, nut toppings, and whipped cream, a veggie display and to top it off there was champagne. Not just any kind of champagne—WATERMELON champagne. Creative Purposes designed menu cards that were reminiscent of a Beyoncé or Destiny’s Child song.
In college, Krystyn was a part of a modeling troupe called Couture at North Carolina A&T State University. So during the bridal shower, we had teams group together to create designer bridal gowns from toilet tissue! J They later walked the runway with their dresses as Beyoncé’s “Get Me Bodied” played in the background. Krystyn started the catwalk off first and later judged each model in their custom dress. Krystyn ended the shower by opening up her gifts. Some invitations were assigned Krystyn-Fierce gifts (which would include naughty items and lingerie), other guests were assigned Kayonce’ gifts (those were household and wifey goods).
