How They Met
My name is Breanna and my Fiancée’s name is Nick. My Fiancée and I met a year and a half ago at a BBQ through mutual friends. We hardly noticed anyone else while we were there and the following day was our first date. I’m a college student and he is an NFL player. He was injured for a season where he came out to San Diego for rehabilitation on his shoulder and that is my home town. He signed with the Chargers soon after and we were able to really get close during his time in San Diego.
When He Knew
In July, Nick was in an accident and broke his wrist, along with full body abrasions and road rash. I bathed him, and helped him I cared for him in every way and chance I could until he healed. He lost his job in San Diego and soon after signed with the Cleveland Browns. He knew right then and there that I was the one for him. He was already in Cleveland for a few weeks while I was packing up our home and flew out to surprise me with the most amazing proposal imaginable. He flew from Cleveland to Colorado and Oregon to ask both of my father’s for permission and then to San Diego (where he proposed), all in less than a day.
The Proposal
Our proposal (video below) was at the location of our first date. 🙂 We are so in love and excited to be getting married this April.
