Happy Tuesday everyone! I am so thrilled to finally share this breathtaking bridal inspiration shoot by La Candella Weddings. Lately, I have found myself drawn to rustic bohemian inspiration – maybe because of that super romantic vibe it gives- who knows! Wedding photographer Angie Candella of La Candella Weddings and a group of pretty awesome vendors came together to bring this gorgeous styled shoot inspired by a single bridal accessory- how cool is that ? … Prepare to swoon!
From the Photographer:
I recently got married this past June, and I had gotten this absolutely GORGEOUS necklace custom made by Edera Jewelry for it. As a wedding/fashion photographer myself, I knew that after my wedding, that I would want to use it again for a photoshoot. Because of that, I decided to start to base the shoot around that necklace, which I used for a headpiece (the designer‘s original design that the piece was based on was actually a headpiece, so she was all for using it in that capacity.)
Since boho is a big trend right now, that is the theme I went for, for this photoshoot. I was lucky enough to get a few amazing vendors involved- the forementioned Edera Jewelry, who has work on BHLDN, Urban Veils Couture (a veil designer who I have shot her lookbook for in the past), Celia Grace (a dress designer), Burlap and Bling Studio, Angie Melhorn(who did hair and makeup), and the model, Gabrielle Provenzano. I wasnt able to get a florist or bakery involved in this shoot, so I designed the cake and the bouquet myself.
The shoot itself was done in my backyard, with a little bit of assistance from my mom and my husband, who helped with lighting, keeping the ladder steady, and making the veil fly.
