Hey, y’all! Picking our venue was SO exciting. When we first started talking about venues, we were undecided on what we wanted. I wanted a traditional, elegant ballroom & Ian wanted something more modern. While searching, we considered the location, the number of people they could accommodate, price, service & the feel of the venue! I never thought we would find a place that would incorporate both traditional and modern, but we did! We decided to have our wedding at Park Tavern on Piedmont Park in The Piedmont Room!!!!
This venue is GORGEOUS! It is a ballroom surrounded by HUGE windows looking out over Piedmont Park & the city of Atlanta! The skyline at night is such a great view. This space is exactly what we wanted. It’s a ballroom with some traditional aspects like the gold tones, ivory draping & candles in the windows, but it is also modern at the same time with it being a long rectangular shape instead of your traditional square ballroom. The venue has a full service restaurant downstairs, so they will be catering all of the food and providing our bar, which saves me from having to hire a catering company and bartenders separately.
They also have a lot of different events like festivals and concerts at the venue – it is very unique! One of my favorite things about the venue is the service! My emails & phone calls are promptly responded to & so far, they have walked me through everything that I need to do (shout out to Ryan!) If anyone is looking to book a venue in the Atlanta area, you should definitely check out Park Tavern.
